Training/Lessons:

Located adjacent to the barn is a round pen and a new oval arena perfect for schooling over jumps or for practicing equitation. An open hunt course complete with jumps is set up on a rolling field for the more advanced rider. There is also a stocked pond for the non-horsey set.

Lessons, training and boarding are available. School horses and ponies are available for lessons, or bring your own. Pam teaches all ages and levels, and has a pony especially for children. Her youngest student is four years old! Pam has taught for over fifteen years and ha a wealth of experience on the show circuit. Prior to moving to North Carolina, Pam showed Equitation and Hunters in the Zone 2 Region where she achieved Champion and Reserve. This level is affiliated with the USEF.

We specialize in Hunt Seat Equitation and show from local level to the "A" Circuit. Our horses and ponies are safe and reliable.

• Private and group lesson packages are available. Packages provide 4 lessons in one month. Groups are no larger than 3 people.

• All riders are required to take an evaluation lesson, so placement will be in the proper group. Beginners may be required to do private lessons until able to ride on their own.

• In case of bad weather on riding day, the lesson will be held in the barn on horsemanship. In the case of an illness or family emergency, notification should be made at least 24 hours in advance, so the lesson can be rescheduled in the same month at the trainer's availability.

Fees: (effective February 2010)

 

Riding Lesson Packages:

 

Private Lesson on your own horse or pony:	$45.00 per lesson or monthly rate of $170.00 per month with 1 lesson per week
Private Lesson on our horse or pony:	$55.00 per lesson or monthly rate of $200 with 1 lesson per week
Lesson Program:	$300 per month includes 1 lesson plus 2 practice rides per week
Full Lesson Program on our horse or pony:	$400 per month includes 2 lessons per week plus 1 practice ride
Practice Rides:	$15.00 per ride
Evaluation Lesson:	$45.00
